The 1/4 oz American Gold Eagle’s obverse features Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ renowned 1907 depiction of Lady Liberty, with her holding a torch and an olive branch, set against a backdrop of sun rays and the U.S. Capitol Building, encircled by stars. On the reverse of the 1/4 oz Gold Eagle Coins, collectors will find one of two designs: Miley Busiek’s family of bald eagles, used from 1986 to mid-2021, and Jennie Norris’ bald eagle head, which has been in use since mid-2021.
Coins arrive in protective plastic flips or tubes of 40 coins.
Each coin contains 1/4 Troy oz of pure gold content and bears a face value of $10 (USD) backed by the United States government.
Obverse features Lady Liberty.
Reverse includes two types of American bald eagle designs, depending on the date.
