About The 1 oz Austrian Platinum Philharmonic
The Austrian Philharmonic Coins, regardless of metal content, all feature the same obverse and reverse design elements. The 1 oz Austrian Platinum Philharmonic Coins share the designs created in 1989 by Thomas Pesendorfer, the Chief Engraver of the Austrian Mint. These designs honor the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, a cultural icon in Austria and widely regarded as one of the finest orchestras in the world today.
