The reverse side of these 10 oz SilverTowne Silver Buffalo Bars features the image of Black Diamond. This American bison lived at the Central Park Zoo in New York City during the early 20th century. Black Diamond inspired the reverse design of the Buffalo Nickel. On the obverse side, you’ll find a right-profile portrait of a Native American figure. The artist, James Earle Fraser, combined facial features from multiple tribal leaders.
These bars come sealed in plastic packaging.
Both sides replicate the design of the Buffalo Nickel.
Each bar contains 10 Troy ounces of .999 pure silver.
On the front side, you’ll find the Native American portrait from the Buffalo Nickel, while the reverse side showcases Black Diamond, an American bison.
These designs were created by James Earle Fraser in 1913 for the Buffalo Nickel.
